The Warriors suffered their worse loss on their home court since Steve Kerr has been at the helm, after going down 125-85 to the Celtics on Monday night.
It was a bleak game for the Dubs from start to finish.
Just two Warriors scored in double figures as they shot 34.8 percent from the field and 26.4 percent (14-of-53) from three-point distance as a team.
Unsurprisingly, Stephen Curry was the only starter to reach double figures and had a team-high 18 points on a 6-16 shooting effort (4-of-12 from 3).
Despite the teams offensive struggles, Kerr doesnt want to budge on the amount of three-pointers being attempted.
Were not a team that gets layups or free throws, Kerr said. Its just in our DNA. So we have to shoot a lot of threes and we will continue to do so. Nights like tonight where they dont go, its a tough road.
The head coach did admit that the loss was demoralizing but is urging his team to move onto to their next conquest against the Kings.
We take it week by week, Kerr said. Weve got to flush this one down the toilet and get ready for [Sacramento]. Weve been very competitive all year and our guys have fought. Weve had a handful of these where we just get blown out and these are demoralizing. The most important thing for me is for our guys to forget this one, have a day off tomorrow, and then be ready to roll in Sacramento on Wednesday.
Things may go from bad to worse at the Dubs, since for at least the next week theyll be without star players Jonathan Kuminga and Draymond Green due to injury.
