Billy Horschel is another golfer who is performing at this year's TGL. The experienced golfer had the opportunity to perform in Atlanta last night, and upon entering the SoFi Center, he surprised everyone with his dance.
TGL is a project that was created with the aim of attracting a younger population, but also to create an entertainment factor that was missing in this sport years ago.
Entering the SoFi Center last night, the 38-year-old golfer wore a huge silver chain with the inscription 'Dirty Birds', as a tribute to the Atlanta Falcons. Horschel then performed the 'Dirty Bird' dance that originated 27 years ago, after Atlanta's loss to the Denver Broncos.
Namely, after his team's victory, wide receiver O.J Santiago entered the celebration shouting: How about them Dirty Birds!
Justin Thomas reacts to Horschel's dance: I will never be able to get that out of my mind
Reactions to Horschel's dance have been mixed. Justin Thomas, his colleague, said that he will never be able to get that dance out of his head.
Id probably go back in time and not watch Billy do the Dirty Bird dance if I could because I will never be able to get that out of my mind, Thomas said, as quoted by SB Nation.
The seasoned golfer seemed to agree with Justin Thomas. However, Horschel decided to make a joke, stressing that this is not the first time he will do similar things. The experienced golfer is ready to surprise the audience in the coming time as well, wishing that golf is not only a simple game, but also a fun game that will have such comical, but at the same time great moments.
Etched in there for life. As I said, it wasnt going to be pretty. I was going to make a fool of myself. But its not the first time and wont be the last time.- Billy Horschel said.
