Chase Koepka is returning to golf courses almost 15 months after being dropped from LIV Golf. The 30-year-old golfer, known as the brother of Brooks Koepka was kicked out of the Saudi-backed Tour in October 2023 along with several other well-known names.

As LIV exemptions, the 30-year-old golfer will compete in the Smart Infinity Philippine Open tournament on the Asian Tour.
In an interview with the media, Brooks' brother confirmed that a serious injury kept him off the field for some time. Chase was preparing, but it was clear that he couldn't make the swing he wanted.
"I tried hitting balls to get ready for the promotions event, and I couldnt make a full swing."- he said, as quoted by Mirror.
Injuries can be a huge obstacle for any golfer, and coming back from injury can be quite a challenge. It can sometimes feel like picking up a golf club for the first time and having to learn the game all over again. The 30-year-old revealed he had serious challenges relearning some of the basics of the sport.

"I had to learn how to pick things up again and learn how to squeeze my hand again."- he said.
Brooks Koepka gave him some advices
Much of the credit for his comeback goes to his brother Brooks, one of the more controversial figures on the golf scene. Chase admitted that his brother had some useful advice, one of which was not to rush back into the game. Brooks also had problems with injuries, knowing that rushing can't bring positive things; On the contrary, an overwhelming desire to return as soon as possible can create huge problems.
"Brooks was [adamant] that I should not rush back."- Chase said.
"He kept saying, 'you have the time, so use it to your advantage. Get healthy and find your passion for the game again'."
