Novak Djokovic admitted it was disappointing for him and Andy Murray to see their first tournament in an unfortunate way and also said that they would sit down for a conversation and see if continuing their partnership makes sense.

On Friday, the current world No. 7 retired injured to Alexander Zverev in the Australian Open semifinal.
After a marathon first set that the German won 7-6 (5) after an hour and 21minutes of play, the 37-year-old walked to the net and called it a day.
It was the same injury that bothered Djokovic three days earlier against Carlos Alcaraz.
"I don't know. You know, we both were disappointed with what just happened, so we didn't talk about the future steps. We are so fresh off the court," the Serb said when asked what would happen with his collaboration with Murray.
"I'll definitely have a chat with Andy and thank him for being here with me. You know, give him my feedback, which is, of course, positive, and see how he feels and we make the next step."

After the record 10-time Australian Open champion concluded his campaign at Melbourne, the British tennis legend also spoke a bit with the media.
Me and Novak agreed that after the tournament we would speak. Well do that," the former two-time Wimbledon champion said.
Following the match, Djokovic revealed that his upper left leg injury was a muscle tear.
On Wednesday and Thursday, the former world No. 1 didn't practice as his full focus was on recovery.
But in the end, he didn't feel fit enough to play out a full match against Zverev.
"He practiced right before the match and was feeling good enough to give it a go. It was an unfortunate way to finish," Murray said.
