Riho might be closer to an AEW comeback than fans thoughtbut nothing is official just yet.

The first-ever AEW Womens World Champion has been missing from the promotion since July 2024, when she defeated Lady Frost in her AEW Collision debut. That match ended up being her only appearance of the year, as she suffered an injury and hasnt been seen in the ring since.

Before that, Riho had already been largely absent from AEW programming, only wrestling eight times since mid-2023. But in a new update, sources are reporting that she attended AEW Worlds End 2024 in Decemberand she wasnt just there to watch.

According to Fightful Select, Riho was in the ring training before the pay-per-view, sparking speculation that she might be gearing up for a return. Despite that sighting, theres still no official word on whenor ifshell be back in AEW competition anytime soon.

With AEWs womens division continuing to evolve, Rihos return could shake things up in a major waybut for now, fans will have to wait and see.

Do you think AEW should bring Riho back into the mix, or has the division moved on without her? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
