AEWs Grand Slam: Australia is shaping up to be a big moment for the companys international expansion, but ticket sales arent exactly living up to the hype. After moving the event from Suncorp Stadium to the much smaller Brisbane Entertainment Centre, AEW is now offering two-for-one ticket deals to fill the remaining seats.
During a discussion on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez revealed that fans received emails on Saturday offering a buy-one-get-one-free deal for the February 15 event. Dave Meltzer didnt hold back on what that meant for ticket sales.

This revelation comes after AEWs initial plan to pack a 52,000-seat stadium fell apart, forcing them to relocate to a 13,500-seat venue. Despite the struggles, AEW still has a loaded card, with Toni Storm vs. Mariah May being one of the most anticipated rematches of the year. The event is also set to air after TNTs All-Star Saturday Night, which means a 21-hour delay for U.S. viewersanother decision thats raised eyebrows.
