Jake Something is stepping away from the ring for a while, revealing that both he and his partner Leah are dealing with serious medical issues.
Taking to social media, the TNA star broke the news, saying, I have to go away for a while to heal up. Leah needs surgery, and I (probably) do too.
He didnt specify his injury, but the message was clearhes not going to be in action for some time. He also gave a special shoutout to Deadlock Pro Wrestling, adding, Thank you for all the love and support, especially to @deadlockpro for all their help. Please support that company, truly the best.
Jakes last match took place on January 25 at a TNA iMPACT! taping, where he faced Joe Hendry. Its unclear how long hell be out, but with potential surgery on the table, it might be a while before fans see him back in action.
Wrestling is a brutal business, and injuries are part of the game, but Jakes focus is clearly on recovery and supporting Leah during her surgery. Fans are already sending their well-wishes, hoping he makes a full comeback when the time is right.
