WWE is making big moves with NXT, and the next stop could be one of the most famous venues in the world.

According to PWInsider, WWE has proposed a March 11 taping of NXT at The Theater at Madison Square Garden, just one day after Raw takes over MSGs main arena. If this happens, it would mark the first time WWE has broadcasted an NXT event from the iconic venue.

While nothing is officially confirmed, the idea of NXT running a show in The Theater has fans talking. The last time NXT held an event there was back in 2016, but MSG has a long history of hosting major wrestling moments. If WWE follows through with this plan, it could signal even bigger things for the developmental brand now that its on The CW.

With NXT continuing to move out of the Performance Center and hit major markets, WWE seems to be positioning it as a true touring brand again. Whether this taping at MSG becomes a reality remains to be seen, but if it does, it could be a major statement for NXTs future.
