Another major name is set to be in Indianapolis for the Royal Rumble, and its none other than Omos.
According to Fightful Select, WWE has brought the giant into town for the event, though its unclear if hell actually be in the Mens Royal Rumble Match.
PWInsider initially reported that Omos was heading to the Royal Rumble site, and now sources have confirmed that WWE has been discussing his involvement in the match. While nothing is official, the fact that his name is even in the conversation is enough to raise eyebrows.
Over the past year, WWE has primarily used Omos for media appearances and battle royals, but he turned a lot of heads with his recent run in Japans NOAH promotion. His willingness to step out of his comfort zone and work in Japan reportedly impressed many within WWE, adding more intrigue to his potential role in the Rumble.
With Damian Priest, Tiffany Stratton, Austin Theory, Grayson Waller, Chelsea Green, Dominik Mysterio, and Natalya also confirmed to be in town, WWE has plenty of surprises up its sleeve. Whether Omos gets an official spot in the match or not, his presence in Indianapolis has people talking.
