Huntsville, Alabamas Probst Arena hosted the January 29 episode of AEW Dynamite, there was a lot going on during the two-hour show, including Ricochet continuing his mission in AEW.
Ricochet took on AR Fox this week on AEW Dynamite. The One And Only has been getting a ton of heat since joining the company, and this week was no different.
Swerve Strickland wasnt allowed to interfere in this match, or he would lose his upcoming match against Ricochet in Atlanta. AR Fox and Ricochet fought through a commercial break, and it was a nice back and forth match.
Ricochet kicked out after a close call from AR Fox, and the match continued. Then Ricochet kicked out after a 450 Splash from Fox.
These two have battled many times in the past, and it was evident how well they know each other from how this contest went. Then Ricochet grabbed the referee when Fox had him up, which allowed him to get a close near fall.
Then Ricochet nailed a Spirit Gun and a Vertigo for the clean win. This was quite an impressive victory for Ricochet as he pulled out the victory in the closing moments after rallying.
After the match was over, Ricochet grabbed a pair of golden scissors and he almost stabbed AR Fox. Then Swerve came out of nowhere and he beat Ricochet down. Swerve climbed to the top rope, and then Ricochet grabbed AR Fox and held those scissors to him like a hostage as he rolled out of the ring.
We will have to see how things turn out next week on Dynamite as Swerve Strickland faces Ricochet. They certainly have some unfinished business.
