WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has achieved a lot in his wrestling career. While he is no longer a full-time competitor, he has still wrestled a few matches in recent years. In fact, he has now explained why he continues to step into the ring.
While speaking on the Mighty podcast, Booker T explained why he still occasionally steps into the wrestling ring, despite trying to stay out of it as much as possible. He stated that training his students often pulls him back in, as he feels the need to show techniques firsthand. Sometimes, the instinct to get in the ring just takes over.
Booker T also mentioned that he is considering having another match at his Reality of Wrestling promotion alongside some of his students. If it happens, he wants it to be a 10-man tag match or something similar, allowing him to compete without taking on too much physically.
Booker T most recently defeated Zilla Fatu in a Street Justice Rules Gauntlet match during Reality of Wrestlings Battle To The Bell event, which marked Booker Ts first singles match in five years. Nonetheless, as Booker T continues to train the next generation of wrestlers, fans are eagerly waiting to see whether he will compete in another match this year, as they still want to see the 59-year-old star continue to compete inside the squared circle.
Do you think Booker T should have another match? Would you prefer to see him in a special tag match with his students, or should he stay retired from competition?
