Goldberg is going all in for his final match in 2025, but its taking a toll. The WWE Hall of Famer hasnt wrestled since 2022, but hes grinding in the gym every night to make sure his last outing is worth it. The problem? His body isnt what it used to be.
Speaking on his CarCast podcast, Goldberg opened up about the struggle of getting back into ring shape at this stage in his career. Im thinking, Im doing all of this shit for one night. Im literally busting my ass. Im up here in the garage, in the gym, every night, he said. Granted, I dont work out like I used to. Its a 45-minute Jack LaLanne workout as opposed to the whole Goldberg days.
The biggest issue? His body is fighting back. I have to crawl before I run. We all know I have a pretty screwed up shoulder. Thats my biggest concern getting into this retirement match, he admitted. To help with that, Goldberg is turning to stem cell treatment.
The former WWE and WCW Champion revealed he recently underwent an MRI to determine target areas and will be heading to BioAccelerator in Colombia for treatment. Im going to go get stem cells, he shared, noting that his knee, shoulder, and neck will be the focus. The facility has been used by major names like Kevin Nash, Bobby Lashley, and Diamond Dallas Page, but the process comes with a pricehe wont be able to train for two to three weeks after treatment.
With no exact date set for his final match, Goldberg is in full prep mode, doing everything he can to make sure his last run is a memorable one. Will he be able to overcome the physical setbacks and go out on his own terms?
