After a successful two season stint with the New York Liberty earning her a second WNBA title, Courtney Vandersloot is likely returning to the Chicago Sky, where she was drafted as third overall back in 2011.

Though the deal cannot be official until February first, Vandersloots bio on IG appears to have already been changed, now reading Chicago Sky.

The Sky have made some big changes since Sloot was last there, including drafting the now sophomores Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso last year, in addition to a change in coaching staff with the replacement of then head coach Teresa Weatherspoon with Tyler Marsh.

With the return of Vandersloot, a new coach, and the third pick in the 2025 draft, the Sky should have a bigger presence in the W than in years past.
