The NXT and TNA partnership continues to grow strong here tonight on TNA Impact, and some are looking to cross the line.
Backstage the NXT and TNA liaison, Arianna Grace, is backstage talking about the new partnership between the two companies. Tessa Blanchard shows up and terrorizes both her and Gia Gunn, saying that she answers to nobody.
NXTs Cora Jade is in action tonight at the Impact Zone and she looks to make an impression on the current TNA Knockouts World Champion, Masha Slamovich. Her opponent tonight is Hyan. But earlier tonight, Jade had a little run-in with Xia Brookside.
Jade looks very dominant throughout the match against Hyan, but Hyan attempts to fight back at one point. Unfortunately for Hyan, Jade hits the Jaded and makes this an easy win.
Post-match, Jade continues to attack Hyan, but Brookside comes in to try and make the save. Brookside gets hit with a Jaded, but Jade heads for the hills as Slamovich rushes to the ring.
The Elegance Brand is backstage with Santino Marella saying they were robbed at Genesis for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships. Marella will review their statement, but announces a Knockouts Battle Royal for the Knockouts Title. The Tag Champs, Spitfire, arrive and say they cant wait to get their hands on Ash and Heather come the Battle Royal.
After a surprise return and new championship last week, the TNA Digital Media Champion Steph De Lander, along with her boyfriend Mace Warner, look to send a message to Sami Callihan to not cross them.
