Alexa Bliss may have just slammed the door shut on her WWE return, as new reports indicate that negotiations between her and the company are not moving in a positive direction. While fans speculated about a surprise Royal Rumble appearance, it looks like Bliss is nowhere near stepping back inside a WWE ring anytime soon.
According to Wrestling Observer Newsletters Dave Meltzer, the situation is looking bleak. They were at least far enough apart that people are talking about not expecting a deal to be made. Thats a clear indication that WWE and Bliss remain miles apart on contract terms, making a resolution unlikely in the near future.
This all stems from WWE originally planning for Bliss to return to Raw on January 13 as part of The Wyatt Sicks storyline. However, when Bliss and her team pushed for a completely new contract instead of continuing under her existing extension, WWE immediately shut down negotiations and removed her from creative plans. Not only that, but Bliss then erased all WWE references from her social media accounts on January 14, signaling even deeper issues behind the scenes.
Bliss hasnt addressed the contract situation publicly, but shes made her priorities crystal clear. On January 29, she posted a peaceful photo of herself cradling her newborn daughter with the caption, If you need me. Ill be here. For a while. That post sent a clear messageBliss is in no rush to return to WWE, and with contract talks stalling, it may not be her decision to make anyway.
With negotiations at a standstill, the real question now is whether Bliss and WWE will ever find common ground again. Is this just a waiting game, or has WWE moved on for good? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
