Triple H has been running the show in WWE for over a year, and according to Paul Heyman, the game has completely changed behind the scenes. With Vince McMahon out of the picture following his January 2024 resignation, Triple H has taken full control as WWEs Chief Content Officerand Heyman says the creative process has never been more collaborative.
Speaking on Sports Media with Richard Deitsch, Heyman revealed that Triple H encourages ideas rather than just dictating them, making him the most open-minded creative lead Heyman has ever worked with.
Paul Levesque is a very interesting Chief Content Officer. He is, by far, the most collaborative, Heyman explained. He understands that the buck stops with him, but at the same time, hes very open to starting on a different page than he originally envisioned.
Under McMahons rule, the process was rigidVince had the final say, and everything revolved around his singular vision. Triple H, however, takes a different approach. Instead of coming in with a predetermined direction, he allows his team to pitch ideas and shape the product together.
Paul Levesque can walk into a room with a blank piece of paper and say, Where are we headed? Let me have some opinions. Pitch me. Seduce me. Inspire me. Motivate me. Hook me on something. Heyman continued. He, like a great editor, will narrow it down and narrow it down even further.
Triple Hs leadership has clearly reshaped WWEs creative process, and Paul Heymans insight gives fans a rare look at how things operate behind the curtain. Gone are the days of one-man decision-makingTriple H is letting ideas flow, and the results speak for themselves.
Is this new approach better for WWE in the long run, or does the company still need a strong, singular vision? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know where you stand!
