Nixon Newell, formerly known as Tegan Nox in WWE, is officially back in action. After announcing her free agency this week, she has now revealed her first match post-WWE, set to take place in her home country of Wales.
Newell will face Dani Luna in a match seven years in the making at ATTACK! Pro Wrestlings CEST LA VIE event on May 18 in Penarth, South Wales. She shared the news on Instagram, confirming that tickets for the event are already on sale.
This marks Newells return to the independent wrestling scene after her WWE departure in November 2023. While she was initially scheduled for an ATTACK! event in December, she was later pulled from the show, leaving many to wonder when she would step back into the ring. Now, with a high-profile match against Luna set, her comeback is officially underway.
With her WWE chapter now closed, all eyes are on where Newells journey takes her next. Will this be the start of a full independent run, or is she heading toward AEW or TNA?
