CM Punk has been on a tear since his return at the 2023 Survivor Series Premium Live Event and fans never stop chanting his name no matter what. However, Punk has now admitted that fans chanting for him might be a big reason why many WWE stars dont even like him.
While speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, CM Punk admits that many WWE Superstars dont like him because fans continue to chant his name. He finds it strange that people still remember him after being gone for 10 years, despite hearing the chants. He wonders if his past work truly resonated and acknowledges that he clearly made people feel something.
Punk also points out that when other wrestlers are in the ring and fans chant for him, he can see their frustration. Many of them dislike him because they spent years holding things down, only for the crowd to chant for someone who wasnt even there. He understands that it must be disheartening for them.
CM Punk is focused on making his mark in WWE again, and with WrestleMania 41 approaching, he remains one of the companys biggest stars. With the Royal Rumble 2025 set for February 1st, Punk has the perfect opportunity to silence his critics and prove hes still a top-tier competitor. Fans will have to wait and see if this is the year he finally wins the match.
