AJ Lees name has been thrown around as a potential surprise entrant in the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble, but CM Punk just made it cleardont count on it.
Speaking to Pat McAfee on The Pat McAfee Show, Punk wasted no time shutting down the speculation that his wife could be making a return to the ring this Saturday.
That should put an end to the chatter, but knowing wrestling fans, the rumors arent going anywhere. Ever since Punk made his own shocking return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023, fans have been hoping that AJ would follow suit. Even Punk himself admitted that hes gotten into joking trouble for fueling the speculation.
Despite Punks dismissal, some still arent convinced. After all, WWE loves to keep major surprises under wraps, and AJ has remained a fan favorite since stepping away from the ring in 2015. But with no concrete plans in place and Punk shutting the door on a Rumble return, it looks like fans will have to keep waiting for that dream comeback.
