WWE is making sure fans get an uninterrupted start to SmackDown tonight, as the first hour of the go-home episode before the Royal Rumble will be completely commercial-free.
With the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event just a day away, SmackDown is delivering a stacked card and big moments to set the stage. The commercial-free first hour means back-to-back action without any breaks, giving fans a chance to see matches and segments play out with no interruptions.
Along with this big move, WWE also confirmed Joe Tessitore will interview Kevin Owens ahead of his ladder match against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at the Royal Rumble. Owens has been on a mission to take the title, and this interview could bring out some unfiltered thoughts before the high-stakes showdown.
In the ring, Womens United States Champion Chelsea Green defends her title against Michin, while an explosive eight-man tag match sees DIY & Pretty Deadly (Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) take on Motor City Machine Guns & Los Garza (Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Berto & Angel). Jimmy Uso vs. Carmelo Hayes and Liv Morgan vs. Naomi round out the nights action.
