Despite the doping case that concerned him, Jannik Sinner has become even stronger on the tennis court. The world number 1 did not let adverse events get him down and proved to be the best player on the planet right now, becoming practically unbeatable on the hard courts.

The Italian ace won his third Grand Slam title at the Australian Open about a week ago and gave the feeling of being dominant on this surface, losing only two sets in the entire tournament. The way he has raised his level since the quarterfinals is worthy of great champions and there is no longer any doubt that Jannik will become one of the best ever.
The 3-time Grand Slam champion is only hoping that the CAS in Lausanne does not suspend him, but the trial will be held in mid-April and it may take some time before we know the final verdict. The Italian player has always continued to profess his innocence and has collaborated with the authorities in recent months, subjecting himself to a strong stress that has not affected his performance on the court (except for the match against Daniil Medvedev at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships).

A sensational rise
According to legendary coach Rick Macci, the world No.1 has become even more competitive for a reason.
"The truth is that Jannik has become even stronger because he knows he hasn't done anything wrong" - wrote the American on his official profile X. "Despite several players trying to muddy him, Sinner has shown that mental strength is his main quality. The Italian remained focused only on tennis despite the stress he had to face and became the master of the ATP tour" - added Macci.
The 23-year-old from Sesto Pusteria is resting after returning from Australia and will resume practicing shortly. His next tournament will be the Doha ATP 500 in the second half of February, before the Indian Wells and Miami Masters 1000.
The Italian ace has an excellent chance of remaining number 1 throughout 2025 if he is not suspended.
