Tony Khan continues to sink a lot of money into AEW every week, and all that hard work is apparently paying off. They are a global company at this point, with programming all over the world. This was a big week for AEW in the UK.

The January 29 episode of AEW Dynamite was main evented by Mercedes Mone retaining the TBS Title. Mariah May also addressed Toni Storms recent gimmick change back to her Timeless persona. That was obviously a big draw in the UK.

Tony Khan posted on X to claim that AEW broke a new all-time live viewership record. He said that ITV Sport has given over that information. Naturally, he was thrilled to let his followers on Elon Musks social media platform know about this accomplishment.

Tony Khan then posted to proclaim that in all actuality, both AEW television shows broke new ground in viewership this past week. He claimed that, BOTH of our AEW tv shows #AEWDynamite + #AEWCollision set all-time records for most viewers ever in the UK this week!

AEW Dynamite was opened with Will Ospreay beating Brian Cage as well. Ospreay obviously has a lot of fans in the UK, so this focus on international talent may be paying off for Tony Khans company.

We will have to see what new ground AEW breaks in 2025. Tony Khan certainly has a lot to be happy about right now as his company prepares to take on Australia for their Grand Slam event on February 15 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Queensland. Tickets for that show are still available, and he is loading up that card to the max.
