Hello everyone! Last Friday, the CMLL had two matches. First, a single match between Nexy and Valkyria in which Nexy was able to get the win with a roll up pin.
Next, from la Arena Mxico, we had another six Amazonian two out of three falls, tag team match. The babyface team of La Catalina and the reigning Mexican National Womens Tag Team Champions, Skadi, and Kira, face off against Persephone and the current CMLL World Womens Tag Team Champions Las Infernales.
The first fall was scored by the heels, thanks to their team work and aggressive nature, getting the pin after a fisherman driver.
While the babyface team was able to turn the tables for the second fall, thanks to the national tag champions, picking up the win after an assisted plancha.
Still, regardless of their efforts, Las Rudas were able to win the match after a bridging pin from Persephone.
Post match, La Diva del ring channeled her inner divina, calling Persephone out for being ugly (her words not mine) and challenged her to a match next week.
Regardless of the lack of title matches, I feel that we have seen more of a story development between the wrestlers, like the heels taking the Lluvia mask and getting disqualified by them giving them this little promo segment, thus making it more enjoyable than the normal exhibition matches that they do.
Kira was the highlight of the match for me with her impressive lucha libre high-flying moves. I would love to see them in tag matches for the titles, either defending theirs or challenging for the CMLL titles.
