WWE just made a major rule change for the 2025 Womens Royal Rumble, and its already shaking things up.

As Alicia Taylor kicked off the match, she confirmed that instead of the usual 90-second intervals, a new competitor will now enter the match every two minutes. While WWEs timing has never been exact, this officially marks a shift from the format the company has used for years.

The match opened with IYO SKY entering at #1 and Liv Morgan at #2, setting the stage for an intense battle right out of the gate. The first surprise of the night came early, with NXT standout Roxanne Perez making an unannounced appearance as entrant #3.

With a longer gap between entrants, this change could dramatically alter the matchs pacing and strategy, giving superstars more time to recover or capitalize on eliminations.
