WWE brought the Royal Rumble to Lucas Oil Stadium, and you never know who will show up. The company had a ton of attention on them, and one of the biggest streamers in the world was on hand for the event.
Akira Tozawa was set to enter the Mens Royal Rumble match at number nine, but Carmelo Hayes eliminated him before he could step into the ring. As a result, Tozawa never officially entered the match.
They took Tozawa backstage, and Triple H said that he couldnt compete. Then he turned to find a replacement and found IShowSpeed.
IShowSpeed was around, because he was live-streaming backstage all night. He had some fun interviewing WWE Superstars, but he didnt think that hed get in on the action. Then things changed.
Triple H told IShowSpeed to get out there, and he did just that. Suddenly, IShowSpeeds music hit, and he went to the ring. Speed helped Bron Breakker eliminate Otis, but his victory celebration didnt last long.
Bron Breakker delivered a devastating spear on the famous Twitch streamer, which nearly broke him in half. Then he picked Speed up in a Gorilla Press and threw him over the ring. Otis caught Speed and then nailed a German Suplex on him over the announce table.
This was not the best appearance for IShowSpeed in the Royal Rumble match. He certainly took a lot of punishment in the short amount of time that he was around. We will have to see what is next for him, but his WWE fandom probably grew a lot in Indianapolis.
