Jey Uso just punched his ticket to WrestleMania 41, and hes wasting no time calling his shot. After shocking the WWE Universe by winning the 2025 Mens Royal Rumble, Uso has officially confirmed which championship hell challenge for on the grandest stage of them all.
In a post-show interview, Uso made it clearhes going after the World Heavyweight Championship. That means hell be stepping up to GUNTHER, a man he has never beaten, despite multiple attempts.
Uso entered the Royal Rumble at #20 and found himself in the final two with John Cena, a moment many assumed would lead to Cena securing the victory. Instead, Uso pulled off the biggest win of his career, outlasting the 16-time world champion to claim his WrestleMania title shot.
GUNTHER currently holds the World Heavyweight Championship, and just last week at Saturday Nights Main Event, he successfully defended the title against Uso. With history stacked against him, Uso now faces the challenge of a lifetime as he prepares to step up against The Ring General one more time.
The other option for Uso would have been Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, but recent reports indicate that WWE is planning for Rhodes vs. Cena at WrestleMania 41. Cena is already being promoted for Elimination Chamber on March 1, so if he wins that match, he could earn his way into a showdown with The American Nightmare.
