The 2025 Royal Rumble is in the rearview mirror at this point. The night was full of surprises and history was made. The Undisputed WWE Championship still belongs to Cody Rhodes, but he didnt leave the match unscathed.
Cody Rhodes beat Kevin Owens in a brutal ladder match on February 1. Although he did win the match, those bumps took a real toll on the champion.
Cody Rhodes was very roughed up after his ladder match against Kevin Owens at the 2025 Royal Rumble. Kevin Owens put the American Nightmare through a lot, and due to those injuries, he couldnt be at the press conference after the show.
Jackie Redmond was on hand, where she delivered some concerning news about Cody Rhodes. It was also stated that Cody Rhodes future at this point is up in the air. Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes certainly did a number on each other, and now he is feeling it.
We will have to see what is next for Cody Rhodes as he makes his way toward WrestleMania 41. He will certainly compete at the show of shows if he is able to. That being said, he also left it all in the ring in Lucas Oil Stadium.
