Grayson Waller isnt buying CM Punks happy to be back act. The outspoken WWE star believes fans havent seen the real CM Punk since his shocking return at Survivor Series 2023and hes waiting for the moment the mask finally slips.
During a recent interview with Gabby AF, Waller shared his thoughts on Punks return, making it clear he doesnt trust the former WWE Champions current good-guy routine.
CM Punk, who famously walked out of WWE after the 2014 Royal Rumble and swore hed never return, shocked the world with his comeback at Survivor Series 2023. But while fans may be excited to see him back, Disco Inferno claims that Punk is keeping his distance backstage.
Speaking on the Keepin It 100 podcast, Inferno revealed that Punk mostly keeps to himself in WWE. While he gets along with everyone in the locker room, Punk doesnt have a faction or close group of friends.
Despite his reputation as a lone wolf, WWE officials have been very pleased with Punks return so far. His feud with Seth Rollins was one of the hottest storylines in WWE, and with his first official match on the January 6, 2025, debut of Monday Night Raw on Netflix, Punk is laser-focused on proving himself again.
Punk most recently competed in the Mens Royal Rumble match, only to be eliminated by Logan Paul, cutting his WrestleMania dreams short for now. But if Waller is right, its only a matter of time before the real CM Punk emergesand when that day comes, hell be watching closely.
