The Las Vegas Raiders are set to hire University of Washington offensive coordinator Brennan Carroll as their offensive line coach, reuniting him with his father and new Raiders coach Pete Carroll, a source told ESPN.
Brennan Carroll served as Washington's offensive coordinator in 2024 and held the same role under coach Jedd Fisch with Arizona in 2022 and 2023. He worked under Pete Carroll with the Seattle Seahawks from 2015 to 2020, serving as the team's assistant offensive line coach and then run game coordinator. Brennan Carroll also coached tight ends at USC under his father from 2004 to 2009.
Yogi Roth first reported Carroll's expected departure from Washington. Brennan Carroll will work under veteran offensive play-caller Chip Kelly, who the Raiders hired as coordinator after he helped Ohio State to the national championship last month. Along with Fisch, he helped revive the Arizona program, which went 10-3 and finished No. 11 nationally in 2023.
Fisch will be replacing both of his coordinators at Washington, as defensive coordinator Steve Belichick left to join his father, Bill, the new coach at North Carolina. Washington hired former Purdue coach Ryan Walters as Steve Belichick's replacement.
