In recent years, Novak Djokovic has become the holder of most men's tennis records. The Serbian legend has had fewer injuries than Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in the latter part of his career and is still competitive at the highest level, although he has not won a Grand Slam tournament since the 2023 US Open.

The 37-year-old from Belgrade is the player who has won the most Major titles in the history of tennis, holds the record for Masters 1000 won and has taken away from King Roger the all-time record of weeks at the top of the ATP ranking.
Federer is still far away
Despite holding this record, Nole is not the tennis player who has spent the most time in the Top 10. Djokovic who currently occupies the sixth position in the ATP ranking has just started his 1000th week in the Top 100.
A truly exceptional stat, which certifies his longevity at the highest level. However, there are three players who have done better than him in this particular area. Andre Agassi is third in this ranking with 1019 weeks in the Top 100, in second place is Rafa Nadal with 1029 weeks and in first place King Federer with 1165 weeks.
In order to surpass the Swiss legend, Novak would have to remain in the Top 10 for at least another three years. This means that he should play until he is 40 and a half years old. After winning the gold medal in Paris in the summer of 2024, the former world No.1 had confessed that he would also try to be present at the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.

The Serbian recently injured his left thigh and is recovering ahead of the Doha ATP 500, which will take place in the second half of this month. The champion from Belgrade is intent on playing more tournaments in 2025, in order to get to the top of his form in the Slams.
His biggest dream is to lift the 25th Major title of his legendary career, so as to also detach Margaret Court and remain first alone in this special standing.
