The 2025 Royal Rumble just wrapped up in Indianapolis, but WWE is already focused on Elimination Chamber. During the February 3 episode of RAW, the company kicked off the road to the Chamber with qualifying matches.
WWEs Elimination Chamber will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Torontos Rogers Centre. This weeks RAW featured two qualifying matches, including Liv Morgan vs. IYO SKY, marking the first announced female entrant for the match.
These two threw down at the 9:30 marker of this weeks show. It was a back-and-forth contest, with IYO Sky nailing a high risk dive before they cut to commercial break. Morgan dominated Sky during that break, but the Damage CTL member didnt go down without a fight.
IYO Sky started to fight back after Liv Morgan nailed Eddie Guerreros 3 Amigos and did a little Latino Heat taunt. Sky nailed a top rope dropkick and stomped on Morgans stomach, but it only resulted in a two count.
Raquel Rodriguez created a distraction as IYO Sky was on the top rope. Then Sky avoided a sunset flip powerbomb to the outside. They continued for a bit after Sky hit a German Suplex on the outside followed by a springboard moonsault.
In the end, the finish came after Rhea Ripley ran down to attack Raquel Rodriguez for payback after that backstage attack. Then Liv Morgan took a shot to the face, and the match was ended by DQ, with Liv winning. Now, Morgan will go onto the Elimination Chamber match, but it was certainly under controversial circumstances.
