Charley Hoffman's letter to members of the PGA Tour caused a large number of reactions. Namely, he sent an email to Tour members last Sunday, stressing that golfers should speed up their game. Hoffman believes that it is important to play the right way, adapt to the conditions, and make this sport fast. The problem of slow pace is a topic that has been talked about for a long time.

Hoffman is obviously tired of the same scenarios, wanting to change something.

"Golf is a tough game, and when conditions get extreme, it takes time to play it the right way," Hoffman wrote in a letter.

"We all need to take responsibility to be ready when it's our turn to play and having the awareness to realize that we are out of position and speed up even before the rules official shows up. We do it all the time, we just need to be more aware of it!"

Reactions

Some of the golfers decided to react to Hoffman's letter, but also to Justin Thomas' letter from a few weeks ago, when the popular golfer pointed out that golfers should be more open to the media and show another side of their personality.

Dylan Wu could not turn a deaf ear to Thomas' request, believing that Justin Thomas' letter was unnecessary. However, regarding Hoffman's letter, Wu agreed with many things.

"I honestly think he was pretty spot on. He's not a huge name but a well-respected guy with a great, long career.

It's a better email than JT telling us to be better with the media.

I recall a hot mic moment in Hawaii a few years ago..."

Fans remember the moment when Thomas called himsel a ****** during the tournament in Kapalua after missing a putt. Although Justin apologized for such behavior, some still remember such a moment, believing that Justin should have taken a different approach.
