2025 is set to be a busy year for women's football, with some major finals set to take place on some of the world's biggest stages.
The European Championships return at the end of its four-year cycle, as 16 nations secured qualification to Switzerland this summer. England will be desperately seeking to retain their title after winning the competition in 2022.
England's league tournaments have also all returned to action, with the Subway Women's League Cup and Adobe Women's FA Cup underway. Across the pond, the NWSL Challenge Cup will feature two of the best American sides in 2024, as Orlando Pride and Washington Spirit go head-to-head in Florida.

Subway Women's League Cup Final - Pride Park Stadium
Derby County's Pride Park Stadium will host the final of the 2025 Subway Women's League Cup on March 18.
The competition consists of 23 teams from England's top two divisions, conjoining both the Women's Super League (WSL) and Women's Championship. Since the tournament's inception in 2011, only Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have secured the silverware.
The same three competitors will have another chance to take home the League Cup trophy in the 2025 season, with just West Ham United standing in their way at the semi-final stages.
Adobe Women's FA Cup - Wembley Stadium
England's beloved cup tournament will conclude under the arch of Wembley Stadium for the 10th year in a row in 2025. The 90,000 seat stadium will host the final round of the Adobe Women's FA Cup on Sunday May 18.
The stadium has played host to a number of iconic women's football moments, including the 2022 European Championships final in which Chloe Kelly scored the winner for the Lionesses in the depths of stoppage time.
It was Manchester United who secured FA Cup glory in 2024 however, flying past Tottenham Hotspur in a 4-0 victory under the arch.
NWSL Challenge Cup - Inter & Co Stadium
The 2025 NWSL Challenge Cup will take place at Florida's Inter & Co Stadium on March 7. The cup final takes place between the 2024 NWSL Championship and NWSL Shield winners, and as Orlando Pride stole glory in both competitons, the side will face Washington Spirit in a Championship rematch.
The annual supercup competition will act as a curtain-raiser for the 2024 NWSL home and away season, kicking off the following week on March 14.
UEFA Women's Champions League Final - Estadio Jose Alvalade
Eight sides will be eager to book their ticket to Lisbon as the UEFA Women's Champions League returns for the quarter-final stages in March. The final of the European competition is set to take place in Portugal's Estadio Jose Alvalade on May 24.
Current holders Barcelona will be searching for a third-consecutive Champions League trophy, whilst English triology Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City all square up for the challenge.
Euro 2025 Final - St Jakob-Park
The 2025 European Championships are set to take place this summer as 16 nations travel to Switzerland to battle it out on the continental stage.
