Bayley wants to see WWEs all-womens premium live event make a comeback, and shes not holding back.
Druing a recent interview with Screen Rants Adam Barnard, the former WWE Womens Champion made it clear that shes still pushing for Evolution 2 to finally happen.
Bayleys comments come just days after her Royal Rumble loss, where she failed to win back-to-back Rumble matches. Instead, Charlotte Flair punched her ticket to WrestleMania 41, adding another accolade to her dominant career.
WWE first introduced Evolution on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. The groundbreaking event featured an all-female lineup, headlined by Nikki Bella vs. Ronda Rousey for the Raw Womens Championship. Other standout matches included Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair in a brutal Last Woman Standing match and Shayna Baszler regaining the NXT Womens Championship from Kairi Sane.
Despite positive fan reactions and strong support from the roster, WWE never followed up with a second installment. Rumors swirled in 2020 about a possible return, but the event never materialized. Now, with WWEs womens division stronger than ever and a working relationship with TNA, Bayley believes theres no excuse not to bring it back.
With the womens division stacked with talent and WWEs ongoing expansion, is now the right time for Evolution 2? Would a two-night event be the right move? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
