Andy Reid confirmed Tuesday that he will return as the Kansas City Chiefs' head coach in 2025.
"Yes, I'll be back," he told reporters.
Reid, 66, is fourth all-time in NFL regular-season victories with 273 and will attempt to lead the Chiefs to a fourth Super Bowl victory -- and third straight -- during his tenure as coach on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 2025 season will be Reid's 27th season as an NFL head coach and 13th with the Chiefs after 14 seasons as the coach of the Eagles.
Reid said Tuesday that he's not motivated by moving up the all-time victories list but instead a love of the game of football.
"I just enjoy teaching. I don't get caught up much in the stats or the records. I enjoy being around the guys. I enjoy football, the game. You can't put in the hours we do and not enjoy it. I love the game," he told reporters.
