Apollo Crews is officially sidelined after revealing hes set to undergo surgery for a torn pectoral muscle. The WWE star shared the tough update on February 4, confirming that he suffered the injury during a match on SmackDown a few weeks ago.

Crews last competed on the January 24 episode of SmackDown, where he faced Johnny Gargano. Reports surfaced shortly after that Crews might have suffered an injury mid-match, with Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio speculating that something wasnt right.
I have not got this confirmed yet, but I think Apollo Crews is hurt, Alvarez noted at the time. He immediately grabbed his shoulder and his pec and did not let go for the entire match. As soon as it was over, he rushed to the back.
Now, with surgery underway, the question turns to how long Crews will be out. Pec tears can take months to recover from, meaning he could miss a significant portion of 2025. WWE has yet to comment on his expected return timeline, but fans will be keeping a close eye on his recovery process.
