Rory McIlroy celebrated last week at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, with good indications that this season could be a fairy tale for him. The Northern Irishman is tired of the same scenarios, failure at the Majors, and public pressure. This kind of victory seemed to show his attitude towards the critics: I'm here, I'm going to conquer the golf scene this year!

His colleagues had praises for his game.
Eddie Pepperell, a famous English golfer, during his guest appearance on 'The Chipping Forecast', commented on the performance of Bryson DeChambeau and his LIV colleagues in India, at the notoriously difficult DLF Golf & Country Club in Gurgaon. Pepperell watched the recaps of the tournament, thinking it was fun to watch the players suffer.
"I did watch a bit of the DLF highlights on YouTube because that course is just so much fun to watch players suffer on," he said, as quoted by Golf Magic.
"I had a moment of sadness [though] on the highlights where I saw Paul Casey appear and hit a bunker shot at plus-something.
And I thought, 'My god, Paul Casey there he is. What a fantastic player but what a name from the past.'

The experienced Englishman also referred to other LIV Golfers, for whom he considers it disappointing that they have to perform at such events, in addition to the big events on the PGA Tour.
"I know we just touched on Sergio [Garcia] and what a shame because these are - particularly in the case of Sergio and I know Paul has had some injuries and he's a brilliant, brilliant golfer - [but] to see him kind of, really in no man's land in a very small Asian Tour event when you've got Pebble Beach occurring [is sad]."- he said.
Eddie pointed out that he has a feeling that LIV Golfers look up to Rory, as they want to participate in such tournaments, but they have given up on such competitions.
