Brooks Koepka will start the new season at LIV Golf in a few days, but he still remembers moments from the past, especially the Masters tournament from 2023. Although he had a two-shot lead at Augusta National two years ago, his now LIV Golf teammate Jon Rahm managed to celebrate.

The Spaniard remained calm, while on the other hand, the final round was not exactly ideal for Koepka, who did not know how to deal with pressure.
During a conversation with Rick Shiels, the new LIV Golfer, Brooks revealed what prevented him to achieve a victory.
Koepka primarily reflected on the losses by Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. Although he looked amazing, with the great potential to celebrate, Koepka was short of victory.
"I think that's something that is very attainable. I look at it a few times and I believe I should have eight realistically [by now].
I handed Phil one on a silver platter, I really think in '19 I blew Augusta to Tiger and I gave one to Jon at Augusta.
That [2023] was an interesting one."-Brooks Koepka said, as quoted by Golf Magic.

Brooks Koepka on losing against Jon Rahm
The experienced golfer admitted to Shiels that he was obsessed with winning against Rahm. In moments when a golfer is dealing with such pressure, with a huge desire to celebrate, it is usual for such pressure to eat him up and be denied the victory.
Nevertheless, such experiences can shape a golfer, who years later becomes the best version of himself, and an individual who knows how to deal with challenges and pressure.
"I mean I can say it now. You're the first person I said it to, I got so obsessed and focussed on ... I wanted it so bad that that was the problem.
I couldn't take my own advice. It's easy to say it, right? But in the moment I want to win Augusta, I've always wanted to do this and you've got the opportunity and it's right there in front of you."- Brooks continued.
