Freshly released dashcam footage reveals the police chase that led to the DUI arrest of Marcus Jordan by the Maitland Police Department early Tuesday morning.

Jordan, the son of basketball legend Michael Jordan, was reportedly trying to avoid a traffic stop initiated by a Seminole County Sheriffs deputy at around 1:03 a.m., as seen in footage obtained by TMZ Sports.

The video shows an officer approaching Jordans Lamborghini SUV while inside his patrol car.

It then cuts to the officer activating his lights and sirens, at which point Jordan appears to accelerate and ultimately distance himself from the officer.

Later in the footage, the officer is seen stopping in the middle of the road, abandoning the pursuit, and radioing in Jordans last known location.

Around ten minutes later, officers found Jordans Lamborghini immobilized on railroad tracks.

According to the police report, authorities spotted his headlights shining on the tracks. Signs of bumper damage and scattered rocks suggested that Jordan had attempted to move the car but was unsuccessful.

Jordan reportedly explained to officers that he needed help removing his vehicle after taking a wrong turn. However, police observed that his speech was slurred, his eyes were glassy and bloodshot, and he mentioned his well-known father.

Bro, Im Marcus Jordan. Im Michael Jordans son, he told one of the officers. Im not doing anything wrong. Im just trying to get home. And I made a wrong turn. OK?

After undergoing three field sobriety tests, he was arrested for DUI. Additionally, a white powdery substance found in his pants tested positive for cocaine.

Jordan now faces charges of DUI, cocaine possession, and resisting an officer.

He was released from Orange County Jail on Tuesday afternoon, where a group of reporters awaited him. One guess what shoes he was wearing
