It was further added that while the original plan was for McIntyre to face Damian Priest at WrestleMania 41, something that McIntyre was frustrated about, there is now the possibility of WWE pivoting to a match against LA Knight, the superstar who angered McIntyre during the Rumble.
Over the weekend, reports noted that Drew McIntyre was furious about how his elimination unfolded, as LA Knights errant movement reportedly disrupted the planned sequence with Damian Priest. Adding to the uncertainty, McIntyre was also absent from the February 3rd episode of Monday Night Raw, further fueling speculation about his status.
