WWE Considering Change in Plans for Alexa Bliss' Return

According to PWInsider, internal discussions have taken place about moving Bliss to SmackDown instead of RAW. Despite being penciled in for a RAW return in early January, she was absent from this weeks show, leaving fans wondering whats next. With the Wyatt Sicks now on SmackDown, WWE may be looking to revisit creative plans that previously linked Bliss to the eerie faction.

WWE and Alexa Bliss finalized her new deal on Saturday morning, just hours before the Royal Rumble. The signing was done through Paragon Talents Mojo and Steve Kaye, and WWE went to extreme lengths to keep it a secret. Bliss was flown into Indianapolis the same day, and even the wrestlers in the match had no idea she was making her return until she showed up at the arena.

Bliss comeback wasnt a last-minute decision on WWEs part, though. Behind the scenes, the company had been preparing for her return for months. Merchandise for the former multi-time champion had been in production weeks before the Royal Rumble, proving that WWE had long-term plans in place before she ever stepped back into the ring.

Even with all that planning, her Rumble match spot came together at the last second. Reports indicate Bliss wasnt at Fridays rehearsals, and WWE had originally set aside the spot for Shotzi. By Saturday morning, the expectation was that Shotzi would be in the match, but Bliss got the call instead.

Now, the big question is where WWE places her next. SmackDown seems like a real possibility, especially with the Wyatt Sicks involved. Fans have been waiting to see Bliss reunite with Bray Wyatts influence since her mysterious exit, and this could be WWEs chance to finally pull the trigger on that storyline.
