WWE NXT has been dropping cryptic teasers, and fans are trying to piece it all together. Last weeks episode featured transmission screen flickers, and the same eerie interruptions returned on Tuesday nights show from the WWE Performance Center.
The February 4 edition took things even further. In the final moments of the show, a short vignette revealed four shadowy figures standing in darkness before the screen flashed Vengeance Day and cut to black.
One social media user thinks theyve cracked the code, identifying the mystery men as Saquon Shugars, Cutler James, Keanu Carver, and Dion Lennox.
Shugars, formerly known as Lucky Ali on the indies, signed with WWE in late 2023 but only had four matches before a serious knee injury sidelined him. He returned to action in a January dark match, so the timing checks out.
Cutler James has a collegiate wrestling background and came through WWEs NIL program. He was a regular on NXT Level Up until WWE scrapped the show last year.
Dion Lennox has been making appearances on NXT and Level Up since signing in 2023. His last match was a January 21 loss to Wes Lee, making him another likely suspect in this potential faction.
Keanu Carver, a former college football defensive tackle, debuted in WWE in 2023 and even competed in the NXT Breakout Tournament. However, he has barely wrestled since, with only 10 matches under his belt.
With Vengeance Day coming up, it looks like WWE is about to pull back the curtain on these mysterious interruptions. Are these four newcomers about to make an impact, or is something else at play?
