TNA and WWE NXT have been working together throughout 2024, creating crossover moments that had fans fantasy-booking dream matches.
When Ethan Page won the NXT Championship, many hoped his former The North tag team partner, Josh Alexander, would show up to either reunite with or challenge him. Turns out, it almost happened.
Speaking on Straight Talk Wrestling, Alexander confirmed that he was supposed to appear on NXT TV at one point, but things fell through.
Alexander acknowledged that plenty of potential stories could have been told, whether it was The North reunited for one night only or a one-on-one showdown with Page. Unfortunately, the timing wasnt right, and it never materialized.
Now, Alexander is set to become a free agent on February 15, when his TNA contract expires. With TNA and WWEs multi-year agreement still in place, the door isnt completely closed on him making a future NXT appearancebut will it happen?
