Rick Shiels, a popular YouTuber signed a contract with LIV Golf, causing various reactions via social media. The fans are not really impressed with his decisions, although this important golf figure had no doubts whether this was a good move.

In an interview with the media, Rick referred to the arrival of famous golfers on this Tour, feeling that each of them had valid reasons for coming.
Shiels admitted that one of the reasons he signed a contract with LIV Golf was the desire to create new content, something different and unique from what has been happening so far.
In addition, the American Youtuber will have the chance to spend time with famous golfers, whom he may have looked up to.
Lets be honest, its not a surprise. Ive been very aware of any time a player signs for LIV that theres backlash and criticism. But they all have their reasons to join LIV Golf. For me, it was twofold.
Ive been doing YouTube now for 13 years. One of the challenges as you continue to grow is to create fresh, new content. It has been every single year, but as we moved into our 14th year, it gets that little bit more challenging. So for me, its an exciting opportunity to travel the world, play amazing golf courses, and then get the opportunity to spend time with amazing players again, players that Ive grown up admiring and loving and then also the new wave of talent has come through. Rich Shiels reveals his second reason
Another thing why he became part of this project is his feeling that this he'll produce the best content so far.
After released videos with Jon Rahm and Brooks Koepka, Rick had reason to be happy.
Namely, these videos became one of the most viewed. He stressed that he was delighted that people reacted positively.
Although he expected a lot of criticism, Shiels still has a lot of support.
