John Cenas farewell tour is already shaping up to be one of WWEs biggest storylines in 2025, but now the company is reportedly looking at a special way to close it out.
According to Billi Bhatti on the Dirt Sheets Wrestling Informer podcast, WWE is discussing a Premium Live Event at the end of the year that could be themed around Cenas iconic Ruthless Aggression era.
I even heard that the Ruthless Aggression name was being bandied around, perhaps as a very good way to do it, Bhatti revealed, indicating that WWE may brand Cenas final event after the era that launched his legendary career.
The event is expected to take place during WWEs annual holiday tour, which usually wraps up with a major show at Madison Square Garden. However, WWE is also strongly considering TD Garden in Boston for Cenas last match. The targeted date is December 27, lining up perfectly with the holiday schedule.
If WWE moves forward with a Ruthless Aggression farewell event, it would be a full-circle moment for Cena. His career took off in 2002 when he stepped up to Kurt Angle, uttering the famous phrase Ruthless Aggression before slapping the Olympic gold medalist. From that moment, Cena went on to become one of the biggest stars in wrestling history.
