John Cenas farewell tour is shaping up to be one of the biggest in WWE history, and now it looks like the company is preparing an epic sendoff to close out his in-ring career.
According to Billi Bhatti on the Dirt Sheets Wrestling Informer podcast, WWE is planning an additional Premium Live Event in December 2025, with TD Garden in Boston being the frontrunner for the location.
I have learned that WWE are en route to setting up an additional PLE in the month of December. They are targeting TD Gardens as the venue, which as you guys know is in Boston, and I believe they will be setting that up as Cenas farewell, Bhatti revealed.
Cenas final WWE match is expected to take place during WWEs annual holiday tour, which typically features a marquee show at Madison Square Garden. While MSG is still in the discussion, WWE is reportedly looking at December 27 as the date for Cenas last stand.
With WWE still working out the details, this event could be the ultimate way for Cena to close the book on his legendary career. If the plans hold, it will be an emotional night for the WWE Universe as Cena delivers his final You cant see me inside the squared circle.
Do you think WWE should send John Cena off with a major PLE in Boston, or should his last match be in Madison Square Garden? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
