The new LIV season has started, and it is important to point out that it differs in many ways from the previous seasons. LIV executives, somewhat dissatisfied with the ratings, decided to take drastic measures to increase the rating and make LIV Golf a strong Tour that will lead the way in the world of golf.

As of this year, the main face of the Tour, Greg Norman, will not be the CEO of this Tour. The experienced Norman is a thing of the past, with Scot O'Neill succeeding him in this role.
Several players reacted to Norman's departure with mixed emotions.
Cameron Smith, LIV Golfer and compatriot of Greg, commented on the departure of the golf legend from such a position. Smith admits that it is strange since Norman is no longer around, but he believes that the Saudi backed Tour is making interesting moves that lead them to a great future.
Yeah, its a weird one for me obviously getting very close to Greg the last couple years. I think hes done a really great job. Hes taken a lot of bullets for the Tour, and I dont know many other people that could have done that, to be honest, Smith said, as quoted by The Golfing Gazette.

"On the other hand, I think were making some great strides, and as a tour were really going in the right direction, which I think everyone is really happy with."
Cameron Smith: Im happy the trajectory that the Tour has gone
LIV Golf also signed a contract with Fox Sports and with several YouTubers, considering it the key to success in the future. Smith recognized these quality moves, and believes that the Tour can do great things. Smith will certainly be an important weapon on the way to the success of the Saudi-backed Tour.
Like I said, its a little bit of a weird one for me, but Im happy the trajectory that the Tour has gone.
