AEW Womens World ChampionMariah May calls herself The Glamour,but Toni Storm certainly made her question that moniker during the February 5th edition of AEW Dynamite after Storm dressed up as May. In fact, May has now outright rejected comparisons to Toni Storm on social media.
During this weeks AEW Dynamite, Toni Storm came out as Mariah May, complete with her theme song and mannerisms, as she defeated Queen Aminata. This led to a confrontation between the two before May left the arena in frustration.
A fan on Twitter commented that if Toni Storm wanted to rely on sex appeal like others, she easily could have. Instead, she has become a star through her wrestling skills and character work, proving just how talented she truly is.
This led to Mariah May pointing out the blatant hypocrisy considering the fact that Toni Storms catchphrase is about her own chest, saying, her catchphrase is tits out but go off queen. Another fan pointed out how the resemblance between May and Storm was uncanny, saying, The resemblance is UNCANNY between Mariah and Toni. May wasnt having it, as she doubted any comparisons, asking, in what way ?
Commenting on a video of her segment on Dynamite, Mariah May stated that AEW always stresses her out and she hates the company, saying, all you do is stress me out I hate you @AEW.
In another tweet, she demanded that a video of Toni Storms entrance as Mariah May be deleted, saying, delete this. In a follow-up, Mariah May once again rejected the comparisons and she said that Toni Storm is disgusting, saying, she is disgusting.
Well have to wait and see who leaves Grand Slam Australia as the AEW Womens Champion. Mariah May has declared herself the woman from hell and always will be, but Toni Storm has clearly gotten under her skin. With their match set for February 15th, fans are eagerly looking forward to the bout.
