Famous golfer, Billy Horschel, in addition to enjoying golf for years, is someone who is a huge soccer fan. The popular American has admitted that he is a big fan of West Ham, but many wonder where his love for the club comes from?

In an interview with the media, Horschel admitted that it is a funny story; Namely, while he was still in college he bought Green Street, where he automatically acquired a love for the Hammers.
"It's a funny story, I've told it a thousand times and Mark Noble always rolls his eyes when he's around," he joked with talkSPORT.
"I was in college and went to buy some DVDs because my cable [TV] wasn't set up yet.
I bought Green Street and watched the movie and absolutely fell in love with West Ham and wanted to be a part of the GSE.
I just loved that entire craziness and that was back in 2006. Here we are in 2025 and I just love the Hammers."-Horschel said, as quoted by Talk Sport.

The 38-year-old still follows the Premier League, and when he's not playing golf, he follows soccer regardless of the time of the match. Horschel stressed that he sometimes wakes up earlier to watch the games, and it is interesting that in the US on NBC they can stream any game regardless of the time in the UK.
Having watched football for years, Billy admitted that he has a huge passion for this sport.
Horschel shared that his colleagues do not have that much passion for soccer, considering that traditionally soccer is not among the most popular sports in the US. However, there are several of his colleagues who pay attention to this sport.
West Ham is a club that is mostly in the middle of the table, with sometimes small shifts from season to season. The London club is not one of the most popular clubs in soccer, but Billy obviously fell in love with this English club through the movie.
