Penta made his highly anticipated debut on the January 13th episode of Monday Night RAW, where he had a competitive match against Chad Gable. Since then, he has continued to face top stars in WWE. Interestingly enough, Penta has made it clear that he wants revenge on CM Punk, waiting for a rematch to settle the score.
While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Penta recalled his previous match with CM Punk in AEW, where Punk came out with the win. He expressed his desire for revenge and made it clear that he wants a rematch to even the score, as he said, With CM Punk I have one match, he won. So I need revenge, I want a rematch with him.
Penta and The Second City Saint faced off against each other on the April 13th, 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite. The match was praised as one of Punks best matches in the company, which saw Punk picking up the win over Penta.
Penta had an incredible performance during the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, where he was the iron man in the bout. Naturally, the future is brought for the Mexican star and fans obviously want him to become a champion this year.
With CM Punk currently a top name on Monday Night RAW, a second battle between him and Penta could become a reality sooner rather than later. Therefore, we will have to wait and see when the two will cross paths on WWE television.
